Black Marble Sponsors The National Museum of Computing

June 1, 2009

Black Marble’s donation to The National Museum of Computing enabled the opening of a new research office.

The office includes a large selection of published books, including a very wide section on the history of computing. The facilities include photocopying, viewing micro-film and micro-fiche, and equipment for replaying video cassettes in those important (historic) formats such as UMatic and VHS.

The National Museum of the Computing is dedicated to showing the development of computing from 1940 to the present day. It houses both the Colossus computer and some of the famous Enigma machines.
